Get your lighters out for the Kittens - You know you'll all be doing it soon, what with the girls releasing their cover of The Bangles classic "Eternal Flame" on 23rd July 2001 here in the UK. Slightly funkier than the original but stil a torch anthem classic if ever there was one. The look for the single seems to be virginal white and sparkling jewellry, as seen on CD:UK. Led once again by the wonderful Natasha, the song showcases the talents of all 3 girls in their own style, almost taking turns to sing the lead.

Ring Ring! - Loads of those ring tone things are now available, and doing the rounds, over at www.atomickitten.co.uk. Unfortunately they seem to be solely for the benefit of Nokia users. So if anyone wants to tell me how to make them for other phones, or send my the keypad sequences, I'll gladly host them here on this site or pass them on to Trish (AK Mod). At moment my swanky Motorola Timeport has a rough approximation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born To Run" (classic tune, as covered by Frankie Goes to Hollywood). I used to have a version of the "See Ya" intro, but got rid of it after the Kittens walked into the same room, just as my phone started ringing, in front of several peeps from their label. How embarrassing!

Kitten-A-Go-Go - Well as near as damned. What am I on about? The spectacular SKY magazine this month features Les Kittens on the cover in what can loosely be described as beachwear, or more precisely bikinis of the hot and foxy variety. So in little under 18 months the girls have been transformed, from girly band to feline super minxes extraordinaires. Hands up if you bought it? OK, surely I shouldn't be wasting dole money on Kitten stuff? Oh shudupanfurgetabadit, I need something to cheer me up after four months on the social, and frankly that did the number. Bonus marks for getting themselves a full length piccy in Britain's top tabloid, The Sun on the infamous/legendary Page 3, on a saturday. Just what was required by doctor's orders before a mad night out: Large dose of ultra feline babes to get you up for it.

Getting better all the time - Having managed to contract as many viruses and infections as three girls can manage the Kittens have been under strict orders to take it easy (Honestly girls, just lie back and think of the cadbury's Caramel bunny). Tash with throat trouble, Lil with exhaustion, Jen with a selection of nasties, making AK certified bad for your health. As usual, get well soon, and hopefully I'll be around at Shepherds Bush to see y'all givin' it some large live
