UPDATE 12 June 2002

The tide is coming in - expect the tide to be high on 26th August 2002 when the Kittens release the next single, a cover of the Blondie classic, Tide is High. Not my first choice for a Kitten cover but an outstanding song none the less. Expect you older brothers and sisters (maybe Mum and Dad too!) to bore you with "I remember the original" and "They're not as sexy as Debbie Harry was" (That'll be the Dads). Hey what do we care, eh? Now if the could just promise me that'll they'll stick their live version of Kim Wilde's Kids in America on the B-side ... then I'll be more than happy to gorge myself on a nostalgia fixation for the 80's.

It's alright really- It's OK kept up the excellent chart record for the Kittens by landing at number 3 in the UK charts in it's first week, then sticking around in the top 10 in its second. Which is considerably better than those big blouses Westlife who slid out of the top 20!! Kerry, you really should have stuck with the Kittens luv!

Kittens in their own words - We gather that there's going to be an official autobiography out in September or so and that there's going to be a chance for fans to contribute in some way. I believe that there's more info on the official site, although I'll be darned if I can find it!!

St Lil voting closes - thanks to all those who contributed to our campaign to have Lil made a Saint. we are counting up the number of you who signed up and compiling an anthology of all your comments and praise for our Lil. It'll be up on the site, just as soon as we find the time to put it up.
