UPDATE 01 August 2002 Waiting for the tide to come in?
- The official release date for the next single, a cover of the Blondie
classic, Tide is High, will be 19 August 2002 in the UK, according
the official site. Not my first choice for a Kitten cover but an outstanding
song none the less. Expect you older brothers and sisters (maybe Mum and
Dad too!) to bore you with "I remember the original" and "They're
not as sexy as Debbie Harry was" (That'll be the Dads). Hey what
do we care, eh? ATTENTION KITTEN FANS NEEDED FOR TELLY
- I have been asked by a nice lady from the Telly (Trouble TV, a cable/satellite
channel some of you may be familiar with) to pass on the following begging
email/plee/request: AND NOW FOR THE SPECIAL "COZ WE'RE IN LUV WIV LIL" BIT Meow! Kitty fighting! - Looks like Lil's bee scrapping (who would have guessed it?) It happened late in July at the oh-so-cool 10 Rooms in London. According to one witness "Liz had clearly had too much to drink. She had been sipping water to try to sober herself up before she left. As she was waiting to leave, she started rowing with this bloke. No one knows what sparked it. I thought Liz was the quiet one. She was anything but and made a real show of herself. The bloke seemed worried. She looked like she wanted to claw his eyes out." Still as feisty as ever then our fave little Kitten! True Blue baby - Lifelong Evertonian Liz has been modelling this seasons kit for the club. She says"I was made up when my management told me about the photo-shoot," she said. "I've always been an Everton supporter and I've been coming here to Goodison for as long as I can remember ... I think it's a really nice kit ... The fans will go for it and it's a really nice design...although I wouldn't wear it on a night out!". favourite site, and possibly the best gossip rag in the country, Popbitch,
comes the following tale "Liz Atomic Kitten was recently being interviewed
about their new single. When asked what it was called... she didn't know,
and had to ask her publicist to help out ... After the interview, the
journalist asked the publicist if Liz was a bit dim. His response was
"No, she's just very spiritual". |
